Extending Your Classroom Walls: How do you define curiosity?

After some time with your cohort thinking about curiosity.
How do you define curiosity?

  1. Curiosity is an abstract concept. I always thought of curiosity as questioning, and trying to find answers. This is really just the beginning. Curiosity can lead to some amazing concepts. It can also lead to a path with negative consequences. Overall, the idea of curiosity is a necessity. Without it, our world would not have the continued advancements that we have today. Curiosity is a motivator. It drives people to pursue their interests. We can nurture curiosity in our classrooms as we provide students opportunities to seek answers, find their motivations, and encourage them to keep trying if they are not seeing success just yet.
